Plaque engraved LE MELANOCHROMOSCOPE de Louis DUCOS du HAURON Brevete France et Etranger L. LESUEUR & DUCOS DU HAURON PARIS, stamped inside 347, fixed focus achromatic lens, ground-glass focusing screen. This colour separation camera takes three exposures on one plate, it does not use a shutter and may be used as a camera for taking exposures and as a chromoscope for viewing them, extremely rare and in the rarer format, one of less than ten examples known to exist.
