7. I Mod.A Elmar

this camera has one of the first serial numbers of commercially produced Leica cameras (Leica I Mod.A with Anastigmat lens from 1925 startet with number 126), as usually early Leica cameras were updated later or if this was less expensive, the camera was exchanged to a new camera and only the serial number of the original camera was engraved. In this case, the camera is a Leica I Mod.A, 8th version from 1930 with Elmar lens. Still it is the most early number of Leica's series production known to exist.

Buyer's Premium 20%

The buyers premium for all items exported out of EU is 20%.
For items marked with *, sold and/or shipped within the EU (European Union) the premium is 20% plus VAT (20% for cameras, lenses and accessories, 13% for photographs and 10% for books) on hammer price and premium.
