First Model, Blair Camera Co., for 4x5" exposures on dry-plates, Boston, U.S.A., flap at side opening to reveal ground-glass focusing screen and storage space for three double plate holders, one plate holder included (stamped in ink 'Patented, May 15, '83'. Removable panel at back for viewing focusing screen. Two waist-level viewfinders. The ground-glass screen (partly broken) was removable for use with an optional 100 exposure roll-film holder.
