During the hectic war years, a mere 427 units of the Leica IIId were produced. It is the first Leica model with built-in self-timer, a technical feature which would later become a standard for many Leica models to follow. The offered camera is from the first series, the 124th Leica produced with a die-cast shutter crate. It was delivered to Switzerland on September 9, 1944.

IIId heißt das erste Leica Modell mit eingebautem Selbstauslöser. Nur 427 Exemplare entstanden in den hektischen Kriegsjahren. Später wurde dieses Detail für lange Jahre zur Serienausstattung der Leica. Die angebotene Kamera stammt aus der ersten Serie und ist die 124. produzierte Leica mit Verschlussrahmen aus Spritzguss. Ausgeliefert am 9. 09. 1944 in die Schweiz.
