262. IIIc K grey 'Luftwaffen-Eigentum' with Military Aeronautic Stuka Lens Hood

This unique combination lens hood and camera holder was developed for use in German Stukas for aerial photography, only one completely finished and grey painted hood survived plus 5 examples of unfinished metal, which were acquired by Gianni Rogliatti about 30 years ago. This is one of these now finished, green painted and with the original template engraved with 'Sonnenblende für Luftaufnahmen Objektiv Summitar f 5cm 1:2', in new condition, lit. Wilhelm Albert 'Geburtstage der Leitz-Foto-Konstruktionen ab 1927', page 87 (Stuka Sonnenblende, also unfinished), Lager Vol.III page 83, Rogliatti "Leica The first 70 Years" page 123, with certificate by Rogliatti, including very rare and fully original military IIIc K grey, 'Luftwaffen-Eigentum' and 'Fl.No.38079' engraved on top plate, white K on shutter blind, with matching coated Summitar 2/5cm no.585225 engraved 'Luftwaffen-Eigentum', delivered as SOORE-B (Belag, coated), both delivered to Luftwaffe BLN Berlin on March 6th, 1944 (delivery number 9911)
