114. Leica X2 'A la Carte' Nick Ut

Leica X2 in Silver Chrome with a limited edition Leica Capri Blue Camera Protector and Capri Blue neck strap, with all boxes, accessories and papers. The camera has also been engraved with Nick Ut’s signature, the same engraving that has been given to the camera that Nick uses as part of his enrolment to the Leica Hall of Fame. It was commissioned from Leica Camera AG to commemorate the opening of Leica Store Manchester in June 2015. With the iconic image 'Napalm Girl' from 1972 signed by Nick Ut and also by Kim Phuc (pigment print, framed, size 24x30cm). All proceeds from this unique piece will be donated to the Kim Phuc Foundation Charity. Nick Ut retired this year from Associated Press after 50 years as a staff photographer.
