Extremely rare French Stereo camera for 8x16cm exposures on plates (12 plates), with a pair of Hermagis Rectilinear Objectifs nos.23646 & 23647 in Guillotine shutter. The camera is in exceptional condition with serial number '5', the small top with strap lugs is beautifully refinished, rear with maker's metal plaque engraved 'Apparail GROULT Bte s.g.d.g F.HERMAGIS Constructeur 18, Rue Rambuteau, 18 PARIS 5'. Only 5 cameras are known to exist, one is in the Collection Société française de photographie.
