69. Leica M2 grey paint

In 1960 twenty M2 grey painted cameras (nos.1005751-1005770) were delivered to the US Air Force in Germany, the offered camera no.1105756 is in beautiful 100% original and working condition, still with 'L' seal. Only approx. 10 cameras are believed still to exist, it is the second camera to be sold in public auction. The grey M2 is one of the most rare production Leica cameras ever - the camera was delivered to U.S.A. F.E. Wiesb. on June 9th, 1960 - this camera is illustrated in Lager I page 157 - ex Jim Jannard collection !

Buyer's Premium 20%
