98. Leica M3 chrome 'Leitz-Eigentum'

very rare M3 engraved on the rear of the top plate with 'Leitz-Eigentum', the delivery records reveal an interesting history of this camera: in 1955 it was delivered to Vienna, Austria, later it has been delivered to the Leitz office in Karlsruhe, Germany; in 1962 the camera was also repaired/modified by Leitz - probably then converted to single stroke as well, body is in fine condition with obvious signs of use, only few cameras with this special engraving are known to exist
