an original U.S. Army camera, engraved on the rear of the top plate with 'Property of U.S. Army', according to the Leica delivery records, the camera has been delivered to the U.S. Army on 28.08.1946 and was once in repair on 10.05.1960 - when it was upgraded to IIIf specifications, it comes with original U.S. Army Hektor 4.5/13.5cm no.590881 - delivered to the U.S. Army on 09.09.1946; it is extremely hard to find such complete and well-documented outfit
