One of the most interesting Leica copies we have seen. It is an original Nippon (1942 model) engraved with Leica name, serial no.118663, including a Summar copy engraved Summar 2/5cm no.194442. The camera is made as all Nippon camera from heavy brass (except for the aluminium shell), no Leica parts were used, the shutter mechanism is also different from Leica cameras, it is from the very first Nippon batch made in 1942. The camera was inspected and approved by Dr.Milos Mladek and Kiyoshi Hayata. The lens is a variation of the Xebec 2/5cm. It is in very good working condition, fit and finish of this unique Leica copy are excellent.
